Labrador Retriever Breeder

Welcome to Hanova Labradors, we are a small kennel located in the countryside just west of Bastrop, Texas and about 30 miles east of Austin. We breed English style Labradors that come from long-standing English and Swedish lines that display correct breed type and the “willing to please” temperament. We strive to produce Labradors that are healthy both mentally and physically. Our dogs excel in performance events that include competition obedience, hunt tests, as well as certified therapy dogs and most importantly as family companions. We only breed pure Labradors which only come in black, yellow and chocolate colors. Our priority when breeding is temperament and quality breed type, that includes the willingness to please and beautiful heads we love to see.

Labradors have been a part of our family since 1995. My parents, Al and Katy started the joyous venture with Labs. However, they have since retired from breeding and we work together with the breeding, love, care and training of the Labs. All of our dogs are registered with AKC and certified through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals to be clear from signs of hip and elbow dysplasia. All of our dogs are tested to be clear from inherited genetic diseases to promote the health and welfare of all offspring. For more information on our puppies go to our puppy page.
